    I couldn't resist to drop another new version of the Copilot Usage Bar app. It is now capable of tracking usage history.

    New features:

    • Your AI credit usage history is now glanceable from the dropdown menu
    • With the "See more usage history" button a new panel will open with lots of insights into your AI credit usage
    • New usage graphs:
      • Today shows: Today so far, hour by hour
      • Week shows: This week so far, day by day
      • Cycle shows: Current billing cycle
      • Year shows: The last 12 billing cycles, one bar each

    When dragging this new version in your Applications folder you need to re-do the xattr step again from the readme.

    Made a new version and took some inspiration from Mischa his screenshots, also cleaned up the UI a little.

    New features:

    • The percentage shown in the menu bar now reflects how many percentage of usage remains
    • You can see a projection of your credit usage for this cycle
    • You can now exactly see when the last sync was performed
    • Fixed the calculations for the days left in this cycle

    When dragging this new version in your Applications folder you need to re-do the xattr step again from the readme.

    As I am getting close to using up my AI credits 😅. I thought it may be best to keep track of my usage going forward. So I let AI build a little menu bar app, that allows me to quickly glare at the percentage used.

    You can use it as well by installing it with the attached CopilotUsage-1.0.dmg.

    Under the hood it uses the gh cli tool to authenticate with your Github account. So you need to install that via Homebrew first brew install gh and then sign in using gh auth login.

    New features:

    • There is a new section in the menu for setting toggles (see attached settings.png)
      • A toggle has been added for switching between showing percentage left or used
      • A toggle has been added for enabling /disabling usage warnings via notifications
      • A new notification has been introduced for when your projected credits exceed the maximum
    • Added an authentication flow for Github (see attached authentication.mp4)
